May, 2010 Almost everything we produce is "Custom work", at the customer's request. From time to time however, we do produce a building from a "concept plan" and offer it for sale. These buildings are produced when we have some "down time" between custom orders. Normally, this would be during winter months, when the previous year's orders have been completed but before the new year's production is ready to start. During these times our staff shrinks and we retain our "core crew", our best builders. We currently have one of these buildings for sale, it is a small Timber Frame building. Originally designed as a Car Port, it could also be built as a single car garage, a boat house or a BBQ shelter. The dimensions on this one are 12' X 21'. The timbers are Douglas Fir, cut from "standing dead" (Beetle killed) timber. Most are 8" x 8", the roof beams are 8 x 10. The joinery is all "tapered dovetail". There are photos in the photo gallery below. Wholesale pricing for the "Timber Frame" package is: $8,000.00 FOB yard. Delivery and re-assembly available at additional cost. There are no Canadian or US Federal taxes payable if shipped to the US. There may or may not be State taxes payable (depending on which State), these would be the customer's responsibility. Other configurations/ designs available on a custom order basis.
